Not Equality, But a New Power Struggle
Wokeism isn’t about equality. It’s a gateway to soft authoritarianism dressed up as morality. 🚨
It takes the old Marxist idea that society is just a power struggle between oppressors and the oppressed, then swaps out class for race, gender, sexuality, and every other identity category. Instead of equal rules for everyone, it demands equal outcomes by group—and anyone who questions that is treated as the enemy. ⚠️
That’s not equality under the law. That’s a new hierarchy where some groups get special treatment and others get the blame.
The Answer Is Always More Control
Disparities are automatically assumed to be proof of systemic evil, so the solution is always more control: speech codes, hiring quotas, DEI offices, cancel campaigns, and the idea that certain facts or opinions are “violence.” 🚫
Once you accept the absurd premise—that biological reality doesn’t matter, that every statistical gap is pure discrimination, that free speech is a threat if it challenges the narrative—you can justify almost anything. Force people to use new pronouns. Punish people for noticing patterns. Restructure institutions around identity instead of competence. Shut down debate because dissent is labeled harmful. 🧠
A Stack of Absurdities
Voltaire is widely quoted as saying it plainly: “If you can make people believe absurdities, you can make them commit atrocities.” 📜
Wokeism is built on a stack of absurdities. The longer it runs unchecked, the more coercive it becomes. It doesn’t liberate anyone. It just creates new elites who police language, punish dissent, and demand obedience in the name of justice. ⚖️
Equality means treating individuals the same. Wokeism rejects that on purpose. 🔥
What This Means in Canada
In Canada, the Liberal Party and the NDP are the primary drivers of this new type of fascism, while they accuse the Conservative Party of the very things they are doing themselves. 🇨🇦
The Conservative Party of Canada under Pierre Poilievre is the only federal party actually fighting against this.
