The Launch of Clintel Korea: Restoring Science, Exposing the ‘Green Energy Scam’ and Defending Energy Freedom
On October 23rd, 2025, Clintel Korea was launched in a festive ceremony in Seoul, organised by Clintel ambassador Prof. Seok Park.

The event, held at Elora in Garden, marked the official establishment of the Korea Branch of the Climate Intelligence Foundation (Clintel) — a global network of scientists and experts advocating for evidence-based climate understanding.
The ceremony drew strong attention from the academic, industrial, and media communities, celebrating Korea’s entry into the international alliance for rational climate science.
Under the slogan “There Is No Climate Crisis — Clean, Beautiful Coal!”, the launch aimed to foster a culture of open, fact-based debate and to restore scientific balance in Korea’s climate and energy discourse.
Messages from International Leaders
Guus Berkhout, Founder and President of Clintel, welcomed the establishment of Clintel Korea with the message:
“Truth grows only in open debate. I expect Korea to play an important role within the international Clintel network.”
Berkhout shared his experience in restoring balance to global climate discourse through data-driven scientific cooperation.
Franco Battaglia, Head of Clintel Italy, emphasized perseverance in truth-telling:
“In Italy, we achieved social change because we never stopped speaking the voice of science. Even uncomfortable truths must be spoken continuously if we are to change society. I hope Clintel Korea will follow the same path.”
Both messages received enthusiastic applause, reaffirming that Clintel Korea’s founding declaration would resonate far beyond Korea’s borders.

In its official declaration, Clintel Korea pledged to “restore the essence of climate issues through science and data, and to protect the national economy and industry from ideological exploitation.”
The ceremony included welcoming remarks and a joint declaration by Co-Representatives Dong Yeop Lee and Dr. Ki Hong Kim, along with video messages from Guus Berkhout and Franco Battaglia.
The founding statement, released in both Korean and English, will be distributed to international partners, research institutions, and relevant U.S. government departments within the Trump administration.
